The US Dollar was higher against the Turkish Lira during the European session, trading above 41.40 levels.
The USD/TRY pair jumped to a fresh all time high in the Asian session but pulled back a little in the European session, however, ongoing concerns about high inflation and the potential economic impact of high interest rates continued to weaken the Lira. In Turkey, there are no data releases due to be announced today. In the US, Manufacturing PMI for September (51.8 exp) and Services PMI for September (53.8) will be released (14:45 GMT +1).
