The US Dollar climbed against the Turkish Lira during the European session, trading above 41.80 levels.
The USD/TRY inched higher, hitting fresh all time highs, as chronic double digit inflation and monetary instability are creating negative pressures for the Turkish lyra. In Turkey, Retail Sales for August came out with data being lower for this month than the month before (6.9% this month vs 13.0% previous month). In the US Fed Member Daly spoke (02:40 GMT+1) and Michigan 1 year inflation Expectations for October (4.7% exp last month) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).*
