The US Dollar climbed against the Turkish Lira during the European session, trading above 41.80 levels.
The USD/TRY inched higher, reaching fresh all time highs, as the Turkish lyra is under long-term downward pressure from the country's chronic inflation and monetary instability. In Turkey, Budget Balance data for September came out with data being lower than the previous month (-309.6B this month vs 96.70B previous month). In the US, NY Empire State Manufacturing index for October (-1.8 expected) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).*
