The US Dollar climbed higher against the Turkish Lira during the European session, trading above 42.70 levels.
The USD/TRY rose slightly in the European session, hitting new fresh all time highs, as long term inflation is creating negative pressure on the euro. In Turkey, no new data will be published today. In the US, Nonfarm Payrolls data for November (119k last month), the Unemployment Rate (4.4% expected) will be posted and month on month US Retail Sales data for October (0.2% exp) will be released (13:30 GMT).
