In the European session, USD/TRY continues to trade above the 43.00 level.
The pair remains near record highs after Turkey’s December CPI (YoY) came in at 31.1%, broadly in line with expectations and slightly lower than the previous 31.6%. In Turkey CPI inflation data came out lower for this month than the month before (31.1% this month vs 31.6% previous month), In the US, ISM Manufacturing PMI data for December (48.2% last month) will be posted (15:00 GMT).
