The US Dollar is holding lower against the Turkish Lira in the European session, with USD/TRY trading below the 43.20 level.
The USD/JPY pair remains under pressure after retreating from earlier record highs, following stronger-than-expected Turkish Industrial Production data. In Turkey, Industrial Production YoY came out higher for this month than the month before (2.4% this month vs 2.2% previous month). In the US, markets are looking ahead to December Nonfarm Payrolls (expected 66,000) and the Unemployment Rate (expected 4.5%), due at 13:30 GMT.
