The US Dollar maintained its gains against the Turkish Lira during the European session above 43.72 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair remained high in European trading with elevated volatility as high and chronic inflation created an upward pressure for the Turkish lyra. In Turkey, Budget Balance data for January came out lower for this month than the month before (-214.50B this month vs -528.10B previous month).
