The US Dollar advanced against the Turkish Lira during the European session above 43.90 levels.
The USD/TRY gained ground in European trading after Turkish CPI data was released and as uncertainty spreads over the war in the Middle East between the US, Israel, and Iran that risks spilling over into an all out regional war. In Turkey, CPI inflation data came in at 31.53% vs 31.55% exp. In the US, Fed Members Williams and Kashkari will speak (14:55 and 16:45 GMT respectively).
