The US Dollar edged lower against the Turkish Lira during the European session below 45.00 levels.
USD/TRY retreated briefly in the European session after experiencing intense volatility overnight. The Turkish economy continues to face pressure from persistently high inflation, with fears over rising energy costs complicating the situation further. In Turkey, Industrial Production data for January came in at -1.8% vs -2.1% last month. In the US, Existing Home Sales for February (3.89 mln expected) will be posted (14:00 GMT).
