The US Dollar declined slightly against the Turkish Lira during the European session below 44.20 levels.
The USD/TRY pair edged lower in the European session but remained close to Friday’s all-time high after Turkey’s budget balance data came in positive, though the Turkish economy continues to face pressure from persistently high inflation. In Turkey, February Budget Balance was reported at 24.40B, compared with -214.50B last month. In the US, NY Empire State Manufacturing Index data for March (7.10 last month) will be posted (12:30 GMT).
