The Australian Dollar declined against the US Dollar during Asian trading below 0.6500 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair remained largely subdued during the Asian session as traders take stock at the tariff cancellation in the US and a likely two further interest rate cuts from the RBA in the coming months. In Australia Q1 Private New Capital Expenditure data (0.5% exp) will be posted (02:30 GMT+1). In the US, Q1 GDP data (-0.3% expected) and Initial Jobless Claims (229k exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1).
