The Australian Dollar climbed against the US Dollar during Asian trading above 0.6500 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair appeared set to halt its five day losing streak following the release of some better than expected economic data this morning. In Australia, Building Approvals for June was 11.9% vs 1.8% exp. In the US, Core PCE Price Index data for June (2.7% expected) and Initial Jobless Claims (222k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
