The Australian Dollar fell against the US Dollar during Asian trading below 0.6700 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair was firmly lower in the Asian session after weaker than expected Australian trade data put pressure on the Aussie, reducing the possibility of rate hikes in Australia this year. In Australia Trade Balance data came in at 2.936 bln vs 5.550 bln exp. In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (216,000 exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT).
