The Eurodollar currency pair was slightly higher at around 1.2168 levels during the Asian session this morning. The Euro climbed vertically on Friday as the Greenback tanked after lower than expected Nonfarm Payroll numbers in the United States. Germany’s Construction PMI for May came in at 44.5. Eurozone Retail Sales for April rose 23.9%, Year-over-Year, and fell 3.1%, Month-over-Month. In the United States, Nonfarm Payrolls for May were 559,000. The consensus forecast was for 650,000 new jobs. The U.S Unemployment Rate for May fell to 5.8%, a tenth better than expected.
