In Asian trading, the euro fell against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.0300 mark.
The EUR/USD looked set to extend losses for the second successive session with ECB officials continuing to suggest that rate cuts are necessary due to the generally weak European economic outlook. In Europe German CPI Inflation data for December (2.6% expected) will be posted (07:00 GMT). In the US, Retail Sales data for December (0.6% expected) and Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index data for January (-5.2 exp) will be released (13:30 GMT).
