In Asian trading, the euro declined against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.0500 mark.
The EUR/USD drifted lower during the Asian session ahead of an expected interest rate cut by the European Central Bank on February 1st and the spectre of potential tariffs upon the EU was raised by President Trump.
