In Asian trading, the Euro edged higher against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1600 mark.
The EUR/USD was slightly higher, paring some gains after hitting its highest level since September 2021 in the early morning session following a statement from President Trump saying he is considering replacements for Fed Chair Powell. In Europe, German GfK Consumer Climate data for July (-19.1 expected) will be posted (07:00 GMT +1). In the US, Q1 QoQ GDP data (-0.2% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims (244k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
