In Asian trading, the Euro was higher against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1700 mark.
The EUR/USD extended its rally during the Asian session as the dollar continued to weaken as expectations grow that the Fed will cut rates in September at the latest. In Europe, German CPI figures for June (2.1% expected) will be posted (13:00 GMT +1) and ECB President Lagarde will speak (18:30 GMT+1). In the US, Chicago PMI data for June (42.7 exp) will be released (14:45 GMT+1).
