In Asian trading, the Euro was higher against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1600 mark.
The EUR/USD rose, after posting gains of around 0.75% yesterday with the pair volatile following renewed concerns over the Fed’s independence after President Trump threatened to remove Fed Governor Cook. In the Eurozone there are no data releases today. In the US, Durable Good Orders for August (-9.4% expected) and CB Consumer Confidence for August (96.4 exp) will be released at 13:30 GMT+1 and 15:00 GMT+1 respectively.
