In Asian trading, the Euro declined against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.17000 mark.
The EUR/USD edged lower but traded within a narrow range after ECB Vice President Luis de Guindos outlined that current ECB interest rate levels are “appropriate”, stating that inflation is now on target. In the Eurozone German Industrial Production for November (-0.6% expected) will be released (07:00 GMT). In the US, Nonfarm Payrolls (66,000 expected) and Unemployment Rate data for December (4.5% exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT).
