In Asian trading, the Euro fell against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.18000 mark.
The EUR/USD declined in the Asian session following yesterday’s below target inflation data and ahead of today’s ECB interest rate decision which is widely expected to keep rates unchanged. In Europe, German Factory Orders for December (-1.8% exp) will be posted (07:00 GMT) and the ECB Interest rate decision (unchanged exp) will be made (13:30 GMT). In the US, Initial Jobless Claims (212k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT).
