During Asian trading, the British Pound rose slightly against the US Dollar trading above 1.2900 levels.
The GBP/USD edged higher in a busy economic week for the pair which will see both the Bank of England and the Fed meeting to decide upon interest rates. In the UK, Services PMI data (51.8 exp) for October will be posted (09:30 GMT). In the United States, the Presidential Election will be held today. Major US data releases today include Global Services PMI (55.3 expected) for October (14:45 GMT) and ISM Non Manufacturing PMI (53.7 exp) for October (15:00 GMT).
