During Asian trading, the British Pound dropped against the US Dollar trading above 1.2800 levels.

The GBP/USD fell off a cliff this morning as the dollar jumped as US results seemed to suggest a Donald Trump presidential victory. In the UK, Construction PMI data (55.3 exp) for October will be posted (09:30 GMT). In the United States, many US Election results will be revealed today and 30 Year Bond Auction data will be posted (18:00 GMT).
