During Asian trading, the British pound edged lower against the US Dollar trading below 1.3000 levels.
The GBP/USD currency was slightly lower after registering gains over the previous two sessions just ahead of the release of important inflation data in the UK. In the UK CPI Inflation data for February (2.9% exp) will be released (07:00 GMT) and the Spring Forecast Statement will be released (10:00 GMT). In the US, Durable Goods Orders for February (-0.6% exp) will be released (12:30 GMT).
