During Asian trading, the British pound increased against the US Dollar trading above 1.3500 levels.
The GBP/USD currency pair continued its rally as expectations grew of a Fed rate cut in September while important UK data will impact the pair today. In the UK, GDP data for April (-0.1% exp) and Manufacturing Production data for April (-0.8% exp) will be posted (07:00 GMT+1). In the US, Year on Year PPI Inflation data for May (2.6% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims data (241k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
