During Asian trading, the British pound climbed against the US Dollar trading above 1.3700 levels.
The GBP/USD pair grew after comments from Bank of England Governor Bailey yesterday who said that interest rates should be lowered gradually since inflationary pressures were easing. In the UK, Construction PMI for June (48.6 exp) will be released (09:30 GMT+1). In the US, it's the Independence Day national holiday and no data will be released.
