During Asian trading, the British pound edged lower against the US Dollar trading below 1.3600 levels.
The GBP/USD pair consolidated in the Asian session ahead of major data releases in both the US and UK today. In the UK, Manufacturing PMI and Services PMI for September (47.2 and 53.6 respectively) will be released (09:30 GMT+1). In the US, Manufacturing PMI for September (51.8 exp) and Services PMI for September (53.8) will be released (14:45 GMT +1).
