During Asian trading, the British pound inched higher against the US Dollar trading above 1.3000 levels.
The GBP/USD extended gains to the second session ahead of the Bank of England interest rate decision and amid a softer dollar. In the UK, the Bank of England Interest Rate Decision (4%: unchanged exp) will be posted (12:00 GMT). In the US Initial Jobless Claims (218,000 last month) will be released (13:30 GMT).*
