During Asian trading, the British pound climbed against the US Dollar trading above 1.32000 levels.
The GBP/USD rose amid continuing expectations that the Fed will order a rate cut in December and that Kevin Hassett, a close advisor to President Trump, is reportedly the most likely candidate to succeed Jerome Powell next year. In the UK, Global Services PMI for November (50.5 exp) will be released (09:30 GMT). In the US, S&P Global Services data for November (55.0 expected) will be released (14:45 GMT) and ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI for November (52.0) will be posted (15:00 GMT).
