During Asian trading, the British pound increased against the US Dollar trading above 1.34000 levels.
The GBP/USD moved sharply higher in the Asian session to its highest level since the beginning of October despite expectations that the Bank of England might cut interest rates as many times as the Fed in 2026. In the UK, Year on year House Price Index data for (2.4% exp) will be posted (07:00 GMT). In the US, Core PCE Price Index data for October (2.8% expected) will be released (13:30 GMT).
