During Asian trading, the British pound was flat against the US Dollar trading below 1.35000 levels.
The GBP/USD was little changed in the Asian session but the greenback remained under some pressure following the US Department of Justice’s threat to indict Fed Chair Powell in relation to a building project. In the UK, there are no major data releases scheduled today. In the US, CPI Inflation data for December (2.7% expected) will be released (13:30 GMT).
