During Asian trading, the British pound decreased against the US Dollar trading below 1.36000 levels.
The GBP/USD was slightly lower in the Asian session as the US dollar strengthened following stronger-than-expected US jobs data, which dampened expectations for imminent Federal Reserve rate cuts.
