During Asian trading, the British pound was stable against the US Dollar trading above 1.3300 levels.
The GBP/USD was little changed in the Asian session ahead of US nonfarm payrolls data, while in the UK the chances of a Bank of England interest rate cut in March are diminishing due to rising energy costs. In the UK, Mortgage Rate data for February (6.62% last month) will be released (11.00 GMT). In the US, Nonfarm Payrolls and Unemployment Rate data for February (58k and 4.3% respectively expected) will be posted (14:30 GMT).
