During Asian trading, the British pound advanced against the US Dollar trading above 1.3400 levels.
The GBP/USD posted gains during the Asian session after comments from President Trump that the end of the war might be drawing closer, while the Bank of England is now expected to hold rates at current levels when it meets next week.
