During Asian trading, the British pound inched lower against the US Dollar trading below 1.3300 levels.
The GBP/USD consolidated in the Asian session, remaining close to three month lows ahead of the Bank of England interest rate decision which is now expected to remain unchanged. In the UK, there are no major data releases today. In the US, NY Empire State Manufacturing Index data for March (7.10 last month) will be posted (12:30 GMT).
