On Tuesday, European markets are poised for a weaker start as investors keep a close eye on developments in the Middle East.

Geopolitical tensions have escalated after Iran's significant drone and missile strike on Israel on Saturday night. While Israel has promised retaliation, it has also hinted at patience. Allies have urged for calm, cautioning that a larger conflict in the Middle East could be easily provoked.

Markets will be awaiting the ZEW Economic Sentiment figures from the Eurozone and Germany.
