The USD/CAD pair inched lower to 1.2069. The pair made a steady decline early Tuesday but climbed back to where it started by the end of the trading day. Canada’s 1st Quarter GDP rose 1.1%, Month-over-Month, and climbed 5.6%, Quarter-over-Quarter. The consensus forecasts were 1.0% and 6.7% respectively. Canada’s Manufacturing PMI for May printed at 57.0. In the United States, the ISM Manufacturing PMI for May beat its forecast, printing at 61.2. Analysts had expected only 60.9. U.S. Construction Spending for April rose 0.2%, Month-over-Month. The consensus forecast was 0.5%.
