In Asian trading, the US Dollar edged lower against the Canadian Dollar, trading below 1.3700 levels.
The USD/CAD depreciated after posting 0.5% gains in the previous session after a number of countries including Japan, South Korea and South Africa were hit with tariffs from August 1st. In Canada, there are no data releases scheduled today. In the US, Consumer Inflation Expectations (3.2% last month) will be published (16:00 GMT+1).
