In Asian trading, the US Dollar rose against the Canadian Dollar, trading above 1.3600 levels.
The USD/CAD climbed after hitting a two week low early in the Asian session, with tensions rising as the US tariff deadline of August 1st is approaching. Canadian PM Carney said he would only sign a trade deal if its in the best interest of Canadians. In Canada, New Housing Price Index data for June (0.0% exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1). In the US, Existing Home Sales data for June (4.01 mln exp) will be released (15:30 GMT+1).
