In Asian trading, the US Dollar edged lower against the Canadian Dollar, trading below 1.4100 levels.
The USD/CAD lost some ground in the Asian session as the US shutdown dragged on after the US Senate failed to agree on a funding bill for the tenth time.. In Canada, Foreign Securities Purchases by Canadians for August (11.61 bln exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1). In the US, Industrial Production for September (0.1% expected) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).*
