In Asian trading, the US Dollar rose against the Canadian Dollar, trading above 1.4000 levels.
The USD/CAD gained ground as traders adopted some caution over whether the Fed will cut rates next month following hawkish noises from Fed Chair Powell last week. In Canada, Trade Balance data for September (-6.23 bln exp) will be released (14:30 GMT). In the US JOLTS Job Openings data for September (7.227 mln last month) will be released (15:00 GMT).*
