In Asian trading, the US Dollar climbed against the Canadian Dollar, trading above 1.3700 levels.
The USD/CAD traded sharply higher in the Asian session with the pair hitting a two week high as geopolitical risks supported the safe haven dollar and pressured the Loonie, although potentially rising oil prices may provide some support for the latter. In Canada, there are no data releases scheduled due to the Christmas holidays. In the US, ISM Manufacturing PMI data for December (48.2 last month) will be posted (15:00 GMT).
