The USD/JPY pair edged higher, trading around 111.02 during the Asian session. The pair rose early on Wednesday but gave up almost all of its gains by the end of the European trading day. Japan’s Manufacturing and Services PMI for June printed at 51.5 and 47.2 respectively. Japan’s Coincident for May rose 2.4%, Month-over-Month. In the United States, the Services and Manufacturing PMI’s for June were 62.6 and 64.8. Manufacturing beat its forecast of 61.5 but Services was a big miss from its estimate of 70.0. New Home Sales for May in the United States fell 5.9%, Month-over-Month.
