The US Dollar advanced against the Japanese Yen in Asian trading above 145.00 levels.
The USD/JPY pushed higher in the Asian session, as the yen weakened after the Japanese government said it wasn’t in a hurry to sign a trade deal with the United States, despite a looming July 9th deadline when reciprocal tariffs could be (re)imposed. In Japan, National CPI for May (3.6% exp) will be posted (00:30 GMT+1). In the US, Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index data for June (-1.7 exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1)
