The US Dollar edged higher against the Japanese Yen in Asian trading above 148.20 levels.
The USD/JPY pair increased with the yen attracting fresh sellers amid disagreement among investors as to the time of the BoJ’s next rate hike amid uncertainties over the Japanese economy. In Japan, Foreign Investments in Japanese Stocks (-496.8 bln last week) will be posted (00:50 GMT+1). In the US, ADP Nonfarm Employment Change for August (73k exp) and Initial Jobless Claims (230k exp) will be released at 13:15 and 13:30 GMT +1 respectively.
