The US Dollar climbed against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session, above 35.600 levels.
The USD/TRY rose again to hit another all time high in the Asian session ahead of the Turkish Central Bank’s interest rate decision. In Turkey, the Turkish central bank will meet to set interest rates (45.0% exp) this morning (11:00 GMT). In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (221k expected) will be posted (13:30 GMT) and President Trump will hold an online speech at the World Economic Forum (16:00 GMT).
