The US Dollar increased against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session, above 36.40 levels.

The USD/TRY climbed in the Asian session and is, but remains in a stable range so far this week, despite continued worries about high inflation. In Turkey, the Turkish Central Bank will meet to set the One-Week Repo Rate (42.50% exp) at 11:00 GMT. In the US, Initial Jobless Claims (234,000 exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT).
