The US Dollar increased against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session, above 36.60 levels.

The USD/TRY rose in the Asian session as the pair built momentum for another record high after coming close in yesterday’s session, amid high inflation in Turkey. In Turkey, Budget Balance data for February (-139.26 bln last month) will be posted (08:00 GMT). In the US, Year on Year Industrial Production data for February (2.0% last month) will be released (12:30 GMT).
