The US Dollar was up against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 38.80 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair increased to an almost two month high in the Asian session after the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development stated that recent political events in Turkey negatively impacted the economy and Turkey’s reserves.
