The US Dollar climbed against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 38.80 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair rose in the Asian session as worries over high inflation in Turkey outweighed more temporary concerns about the state of the US economy in the broader market. In Turkey Consumer Confidence data for May (83.9 last month) will be posted (08:00 GMT+1). In the US, Fed Members Barkin and Bowman will speak (17:00 and 17:00 GMT+1 respectively).
